Will DMG deck move underfoot?
DMG deck is unaffected by moisture absorption but consideration should be given to ambient temperature and direct sunlight when initially laying boards as the deck will stabilise in its new environment. DMG deck will not shrink across the board’s width but, as is the case with timber tongue and groove boards, some seasoning of the DMG deck prior to installation will minimise possible movement in the board’s length caused by variations in individual board temperatures.
